Discipline & Conduct

Discipline & conduct

1. Students are expected to be regular and punctual in the school. The first bell rings at 8.45 a.m. every day.
2. Every student is expected to keep up the good tone of the school by his good work and behavior. Disobedience, habitual idleness or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school justifies on-the-spot dismissal. In less serious cases, two official warnings will be given to the students before the final step is taken, which may be done at the time. Warning shall be deemed sufficient, even if implicit or unacknowledged.
3. In the absence of the teacher, the class captain is responsible for maintaining silence and order in the class, particularly at the beginning of the each period.
4. Conduct marks will be given according to the facts ascertainable in each case. Even in final certificates, in which case the decision of the school shall be final against which no appeal lies anywhere, nor will such case be reconsidered.
5. Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school. Hence misbehavior even in public streets and conveyances justifies disciplinary actions.
6. Students are not to be noisy while passing through classroom or the office when work is being done, or the room where teachers assemble. We should show consideration to others. This is gentlemanly behavior and our school wishes to impart such type of education.
7. Neatness in writing, a personal and general cleanliness, politeness and courtesy of speech are much emphasized. Therefore, spilling of ink scribbling on school desks or walls stealing or damaging other student’s belonging or school property will be liable to severe punishments to the extent of a heavy fine to cover the damage as well as suspension or even dismissal.
8. The school is not responsible for books, money etc. that are lost. It is not advisable for students to have money or valuable article with them. Similarly the watchman is not responsible for cycles kept out of his sight or left unlocked. All books, sweaters, tiffin boxes etc., found in the campus will be disposed of after 5 days, if they are not claimed by the students /parents.
10. No Exemption can be granted from the compulsory games and P.T. unless the doctor’s certificate is submitted, or claimed by the students/parents.
