St. Joseph’s English school was started in the year of 1980 by Rev. Mother Damian Mary, the Superior General of St. Anne’s congregation. The school is situated in Muttada in the Latin Catholic Archdiocese of Trivandrum. The school was recognized in 1980 by the Kerala Government as L.P. School. In 1995 the school was upgraded into U.P. School with classes I to VII following the State Board syllabus.
In the year of 2000, the management had taken all endeavors’ to join the CBSE scheme. As a result of it, our school had been affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, in 2004. The affiliation number is 930513. The School follows CBSE syllabus and imparts education from K.G to class XII. The first batch of students of class X appeared for the Board Examination in March 2006. The school had been upgraded into Senior Secondary in the year 2012.
The school is run by the Religious Congregation of the sisters of St.Anne of Tiruchirappalli. The congregation was founded by Rev.Mother Annammal, Tiruchirappalli in the year 1858.Our School Campus is spread over 2.55 Acres (10319.48382 sq.mtrs) And Our Built up area is 2551638.24 sq.mtrs. The school is well equipped with all the facilities like Laboratories, Indore games, Dance, Music room and Health & Medical checkup. Our academics session is from June to March and summer vacation from April to May. Our admission time is from January to May.
